As part of the upgrade of the Strategic Asset Management Framework, Treasury has released a new exposure draft on Office Accommodation Planning and a model for a strategic office accommodation plan.

This Quarterly Financial Results Report provides financial results for the Western Australian public sector for the six months to 31 December 2012.
The Caretaker Conventions governing the operation of the Western Australian public sector during an election campaign allow for the Under Treasurer to provide a formal election commitment costing service to the major political parties.
The Government Financial Responsibility Act 2000 requires that the Under Treasurer release a Pre-election Financial Projections Statement (PFPS) within 10 days of the dissolution of the Legislative Assembly.

The Treasury business plays a central role in managing Western Australia’s public sector finances and in providing expert analysis and advice on the strategies and frameworks necessary for maintaining the State’s economic and financial position. This includes the development of economic and revenue forecasts, and the on-going monitoring of developments in the State’s economy and major revenue bases.
