We support your development

$300 training allowance

All employees are given access to a $300 annual training allowance, which you can use to seek courses or training in addition to those offered in the training calendar, to supplement university studies, membership fees, or to reduce your HECS debt etc.

Study assistance

If you are looking to further your studies in a given area or want to undertake post-graduate study then you can be granted up to 5 hours a week leave on full pay to undertake an approved part-time course of study.

Another great program is the Under Treasurer’s Educational Development Program (UT EDP). This gives you the chance to apply for a scholarship to get the first year of your course of study paid for.

Buddy system

To assist in your professional development all new graduates are assigned a new ‘buddy’ who will provide you with support throughout your first year of employment. Mentoring programs are also offered to all employees.
