    Costing Election Commitments

The Caretaker Conventions governing the operation of the Western Australian public sector during an election campaign allow for the Under Treasurer to provide a formal election commitment costing service to the major political parties.

The Caretaker Conventions require the Under Treasurer to release all such costings publicly, including any related assumptions, and/or a statement making clear why a costing cannot be completed within the prescribed timeframe.

The links on the menu to the right provide the Under Treasurer’s response to all election commitments referred to him for a formal costing under the Caretaker Conventions for the 2017 State election.
