Treasury offers a range of flexible work arrangements to enable employees to more effectively balance work and life commitments. Flexible working practices are subject to supervisor approval and work/operational needs.
Another way Treasury aims to make the workplace fun and flexible is through their social club, which provides services and organised functions for all members. The social clubs provide a large variety of events, for all age groups, as well as discounts throughout the year. So there is always something available for everybody. Memberships are open to all Treasury staff, including their family and friends as well as Associate Memberships to other agencies.
All employees and their immediate families have access to our Employee Assistance Program for independent and confidential counselling. This service provides short-term counselling to assist in managing personal and work-related problems more effectively.
Employees are provided the opportunity to be paid for participating in two full days' work with a community-based organisation. There is also the opportunity to get involved in community fundraising events.
Yoga, pilates and get-fit classes are run in the 140 William Street Building, and is available to all Treasury employees.
